Former Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino is on one.
Bresciaoggi say the exit of manager Pasquale Marino is only lacking official confirmation. He’ll be replaced by Roberto Boscaglia, who was sacked in October so Marino could take over.
It’s not just the managers getting it.
TMW report former Leeds United director Nicola Salerno could also be set for the sack. Salerno would be replaced by Francesco Marroccu, who also nearly ended up at Elland Road and who had worked for Cellino at Cagliari.
The reason for Cellino’s rage is that whilst he’s been on holiday in Miami, the club’s January transfer window has stagnated.
Speaking to Bresciaoggi from Heathrow airport, Cellino said: “At my departure I had agreed with managers and coaches a line, a series of incoming and outgoing goals. What has been done? Zero. I will meet them on my return to Brescia and I will say that I am disappointed. Now we must get busy. Nothing scares me. And now it’s no longer time to joke.”
Cellino has himself identified areas in the Brescia team which he feels need improving and areas of the squad which need trimming, a level of interference from the Italian that will be no surprise to Leeds United fans.
Brescia are currently 17th in Serie B and a relegation battle is now the matter in hand rather than a fight for promotion.
