Sevilla have reached an agreement with Michy Batshuayi for the player to leave Chelsea this month, report Estadio Deportivo.

Talks between Chelsea and the Spanish club are going well, according to the Seville sport newspaper, and there’s a good relationship between those in the negotiations.

As it stands, Sevilla would pay Chelsea around €1.5m for a loan until the end of the season, with finer details being discussed on what bonuses will be on top of that. Estadio Deportivo say Sevilla will likely have to pay more if the club qualify for the Champions League.

Chelsea aren’t interested in a permanent transfer or in giving Sevilla a buying option, believing Batshuayi is still one for the future.

There’s just one obstacle standing in the way of a move, and that’s Antonio Conte.

The Italian manager wants a replacement finding before the Belgian leaves the club, and so far Chelsea haven’t been able to come up with one to please Conte.

Sevilla want to close the deal ‘as soon as possible’, but first Conte wants ‘a physical forward’ bringing in.
