One thing very much standing out on Kamil Jozwiak’s potential move to Leeds United is that Polish football generally doesn’t think it’s a good idea.
Leeds United have offered €200k for the 19 year old, whose contract with Lech Poznan ends in June. Lech have rejected that offer and all the noises coming from the club have been pushing the idea that such a move wouldn’t make sense for the player.
The Polish club’s vice-president Piotr Rutkowski said in an official statement released by the club this week: “We are convinced that he’s not ready to go abroad yet, he lacks the experience.”
So is this just the sour grapes of a club not wanting to lose a young talent?
A little further digging has suggested not. Not having an expert on the youth academy of Lech Poznan, in such a case it’s better to defer to people who know better.
If Lech’s Kamil Jozwiak goes to Leeds or anywhere in the UK, consider his career done. https://t.co/b2bqQcWeZm

‘Consider his career done’ isn’t the warmest backing for a move to Leeds United, even though in Poland it’s repeatedly being stated it’s what he wants, and certainly an exit from Polish football.
Michal Trela, who works for Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy, has shared his shock if Jozwiak ‘really believes Leeds United is a good idea’ after 19 matches with Lech.
There’s a raft of other similar Polish opinions, all suggesting that Jozwiak is getting too far ahead of himself, and a move to Leeds could damage his career.
