According to a claim in the Italian media, West Ham United are looking at the possibility of replacing Slaven Bilic with Walter Mazzarri.
The Italian is currently without a job after being sacked by Watford at the end of last season, and he’s also been linked with a return to England with Everton and Leicester City.
TMW have reported West Ham could be looking to bring in Mazzarri, and contact has already been made with the former Inter Milan and Napoli coach, who would prefer the West Ham option, despite already having contact with Everton.
Bilic is under pressure following West Ham’s home defeat to Brighton last night, and the Croatian could be sacked by the Premier League side’s board. Ronald Koeman is also under pressure at Everton, and Leicester City are manager-less.
Mazzarri links are often pushed to the Italian media and they always seem to be favourable to the manager, perhaps talking up Everton, Leicester and West Ham interest to more than it is.
