According to claims in Italy, Torino are showing an interest in Anderlecht forward Lukasz Teodorczyk.
The Belgian has been linked with a move to West Ham United in recent months, and it’s expected the Premier League will challenge Torino to land the player.
TMW have reported Torino are looking to life without their star striker Andrea Belotti, and Teodorczyk is an option for the Serie A side. Belotti has been linked with a big money move, and is reported to be a target for Premier League clubs.
However, TMW also say Torino should expect competition from West Ham to sign Teodorczyk. The Hammers are said to be ready to provide a ‘battle’ to sign the player for Slaven Bilic, and their competition is taken seriously.
In May we covered reports from Belgium that West Ham were interested in signing Teodorczyk despite the player’s goalscoring form dropping towards the end of the season. It was also claimed West Bromwich Albion were tracking the Anderlecht star.
Anderlecht general manager Herman Van Holsbeeck gave West Ham and other interested clubs hope in June when he confirmed they would sell Teodorczyk for the right price, but a move never materialised in the last window.
