It’s fair to say Pietro Pellegri is making a strong impression on Premier League clubs, as we’ve now seen four of the top six be linked with him over the past three weeks.

Manchester United, who started the whole thing alongside Chelsea back in December, were the first to be mentioned following the 16-year-old’s brace against Chievo, and now both Arsenal and Manchester City have been sporadically mentioned since.

And according to Corriere dello Sport on Friday, it’s Pep Guardiola’s and Antonio Conte’s sides who are actively after him, or at least they are the ones they mention.

As tends to be the case for every young Italian talent in Serie A, Juventus are also on the case, and could get preferential treatment if they manage to pull off a double deal with Genoa’s Eddie Salcedo also of interest to them.

Already called up to Italy’s U19s despite only turning 16 in May, Pellegri is certainly expected to be one of the talks of the summer of 2018, and he won’t come cheap.

Corriere explain Genoa currently value him at around €45m, which seems to be the standard fee for most young talented players these days.

You can’t blame them to want to make money on a player who, if he carries on this form, will inevitably move to a bigger club, even if he was born in Genova.

And we all know Manchester City and Chelsea are very capable of spending that much on a player to ensure he ends up at either the Etihad or Stamford Bridge.
