NtvSpor claim Galatasaray have an agreement in principle with Stoke City midfielder Giannelli Imbula, and that the Turkish club are currently in advanced negotiations with the Premier League side over a loan deal.
The French midfielder looks surplus to the requirements at Stoke City, and manager Mark Hughes could allow him to leave the club on a season long loan deal. Galatasaray have been chasing Imbula for almost two months after their manager Igor Tudor urged the Galatasaray board to sign the player.
NtvSpor say the 24 year old is expected to join Galatasaray, as long as their are no problems in the final discussions, with reports he’s set to earn €1.6m per season with the club.
Imbula is expected to leave the Bet365 Stadium before the end of the window, and Galatasaray will be hoping they can take advantage of his situation at Stoke City. The player only arrived from Porto 18 months ago, but he’s failed to make an impact since his arrival in England.
