Crystal Palace are among the clubs in the picture to sign Botafogo’s Luiz Henrique in the winter market.
That’s according to Firenze Viola, and they cover Crystal Palace’s interest when discussing the latest on Fiorentina.
The Serie A side have made an offer over €20m including bonuses for the winger, but this hasn’t convinced the Brazilian club.
It’s claimed Botafogo have demanded €30m to let go of the player and this is beyond the Italian club’s reach.
La Viola also have to deal with competition from two Premier League sides, including Crystal Palace. The details of the other English team haven’t been mentioned in the report.
Botafogo owner John Textor co-owns Crystal Palace, and this would give the Eagles an edge over Henrique’s other interested parties. The report states the Brazil international favours a move to Serie A, but Fiorentina’s offer doesn’t please his club.
Oliver Glasner’s side can get ahead of other clubs to seal the deal if they were to meet the €30m fee requested by the South American club and convince the player.
Henrique managed 12 goals and six assists from 51 appearances for Botafogo last year.
