Sabah have reported Fenerbahçe’s Hasan Ali Kaldirim is now a free agent after rejecting the Turkish side’s final offer over a contract extension. The Celtic and West Ham target has previously spoken about his desire to stay at Fenerbahçe, but both sides have failed to come to an agreement.

It’s been claimed the Turkish international is unhappy about Fenerbahçe’s €1.4m a season offer because he believes he should be one of the highest earners at the club. This now leaves the door opens for both Celtic and West Ham ahead of the summer window.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is looking for a player to compete with Emmanuel Izaguirre, so signing Hasan Ali on a free could be good business for the Scottish Premiership side. Celtic throughout last season were linked with the player, with claims they offered Hasan Ali a contact earlier in the year.

It’s been also been well documented West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has been following the player’s contract situation, and the Croatian is aware of the defender from his time in Turkey.

However, given West Ham already have Aaron Creswell and Artur Masuaku at the club, the left back position isn’t such a priority for Bilic.
