Guglielmo Vicario has grown in stature since joining Tottenham Hotspur and has become an increasingly big figure in Italy too.
His development since his time at Empoli has been impressive and while he has left Serie A, it doesn’t seem as if Serie A football has left him. He remains a keen fantasy football (or FantaCalcio, to be precise) participant and was asked about the players he picks by Sky Italia.
He revealed that Scott McTominay is in his fantasy side, as relayed by Corriere dello Sport:
“I took McTominay , he will be a great revelation. I also have Fabbian who can do very well . Then Politano and Frattesi, wild cards who bring bonuses.”
He went on to reveal that Alvaro Morata, Lautaro Martinez and Charles de Ketelaere are his attacking picks.
The Tottenham goalkeeper has two different squads for different tournaments, which suggests that he is quite keen on playing fantasy football.
Vicario might not be a great pick for fantasy football in the Premier League though, as Ange Postecoglou’s side concede a fair amount of goals.
Keeping the opposition out has proven to be a problem for Spurs, whose attacking structure often leaves them exposed at the back.
