Fábio Silva is making a positive early impression at new club Las Palmas, the latest in his long list of loan deals away from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
That’s according to Las Palmas.net, who cover the player today and how he ‘falls on his feet’ and has already presented his ‘candidacy to be important’ early on in Spain.
They say that Silva has ‘left a good feeling’ in his first minutes in the yellow of Las Palmas after making his debut on Sunday.
The striker arrived on loan from Wolves in the summer, the latest in a long list of temporary departures that has seen him playing all over Europe in recent years.
He’s now landed in Spain but wants to shake of his ‘globetrotter’ tag and ‘settle down’ in La Liga with Las Palmas if possible.
He made his debut against Athletic Club on the weekend and left a very good impression on those who watched him.
Las Palmas.net say he ‘left details of quality and impetus’ and showed signs that he is clearly a player who wants to find the best version of himself and quickly.
Even his personality comes in for praise, with him described as ‘affable and outgoing’. traits which have helped to integrate him into the dressing room quickly.
He’s already a candidate to become a starter in the team and is pushing to establish himself as first choice, something that wasn’t on offer at Wolves.
