Lazar Markovic’s transfer to Sporting is getting more complicated, and as the Portuguese press asks for “patience”, we know that means a saga is ahead of us.
All the clubs are said to be interested, but Liverpool’s reaction to a transfer is still unknown. The Reds have reportedly rejected a €25m offer from the Turkish side already.
Speaking to the newspaper, Markovic said: “I don’t want to make any comment about it. I won’t speculate.”
He won’t, but Record will. They’ve claimed that the Serbian has followed the Sporting duo William Carvalho and Adrien on Instagram, and then ask if it would be a sign that he’s joining the club.
Of course, Record. Of course.
Maybe he just likes them, or maybe he’s doing a Michy Batshuayi who completely gave the game away by following Chelsea on Twitter.
They’re very excited about a Markovic return in Portugal, so the whole rumour is causing quite a fuss.
