FutbolArena have claimed Bafetimbi Gomis wants a move to Galatasaray this summer.
The Turkish Website says Galatasaray CEO Cenk Ergun is currently in the UK to hold talks with Swansea City over signing the Frenchman. During the meetings Gomis’ representative has told Galatasaray he wants a €3.5m annual salary for his client, and FutbolArena report the Turkish club are willing to offer around €3m.
CimBom are also planning to offer the Swansea City player a 3-year deal and the length of the contract is not a problem between the two parties. The Turkish giants and Gomis are likely to come to an agreement in the coming days over his personal terms, believe FutbolArena, but the problem for Galatasaray is convincing Swansea City to sell to them.
Swansea City boss Paul Clement recently said the striker may still have a future at Liberty Stadium, and Marseille are also showing an interest after Gomis’ successful loan spell with the French side this season. The 31-year-old scored 21 goals for the Ligue 1 side, and was even made captain by Marseille’s coach Rudi Garcia.
