Two months ago, we covered claims from Italy that Crystal Palace have made contact to sign Juventus’ Filip Kostić.

On June 28th, TuttoMercatoWeb said Oliver Glasner is leading the Eagles’ pursuit of the 31-year-old, who has previously played under the manager at Eintracht Frankfurt.

A fresh report from TuttoMercatoWeb backs up Crystal Palace’s interest, and insists that it won’t be easy for them because Atlético Madrid and Napoli have joined the race to secure his services.

The Serbia international has two years left on his contract, and the Serie A side want to sell him for €10m this summer. As well as these two clubs and the Premier League side, AFC Bournemouth have shown interest in the left-back.

It’s claimed the defender would also be in favour of leaving the Turin club, and he is more inclined to accepting a move to the La Liga side or Napoli.

This could present a hurdle for Crystal Palace, and the report claims they would ‘clearly be in the second row’ in the transfer race if the other two sides made concrete moves.
