Arsenal fans who’d like to see Victor Osimhen joining the club this summer are now given a reason to smile.
Some interesting comments on the striker’s future were made on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli (ignore the ridiculous name, the station is actually very close to the club), where Valter De Maggio spoke a little about the situation.
In quotes brought by CalcioNapoli24, it’s said that Osimhen actually wants a move to Arsenal, otherwise he may go to the Middle East.
“Osimhen wants the Premier League, if the offer doesn’t come then he would consider the Arab one. There is no club paying the clause today, Osimhen would like Arsenal otherwise he would consider Saudi Arabia,” said the journalist.
When De Maggio talks about the clause, he refers to the €130m price that would be needed to take Osimhen from Napoli, as club president Aurelio De Laurentiis doesn’t seem keen on giving any discounts for their star’s transfer.
It’s been a while since the Italian media started claiming that Osimhen’s preference is the Premier League, where Arsenal and Chelsea are said to be keen on his signing. Now it must be pointed out that reports today have been saying that the player is keen on the Blues as well, so it starts to look clear that he’d join either of the London giants, as long as those clubs manage to find a deal with Napoli.
