As it now seems like a matter of time until Estêvão’s transfer from Palmeiras to Chelsea becomes official, the Brazilian media is sharing the final details of this negotiation.

Website UOL comes up with a fresh story saying the clubs have moved forward with the transfer, with documents being exchanged on Monday.

Chelsea are initially paying €40m for the signing, with another potential €25m in performance bonuses.

It’s recalled that the Blues sent three officials to watch Estêvão in action against Independiente del Valle in the Copa Libertadores last week, and then closed the deal.

The player is said to have a seven-year contract on the table, and it seems like he’s just waiting for the green light to sign it.

Estêvão is still 17 and can only move to Chelsea next summer. As reported by UOL this week, Palmeiras included a clause in the contract saying he will play in the Club World Cup for the Brazilian club in July 2025, so Chelsea, who are also in the competition, may have to face him in the tournament.
