Crystal Palace are now thrown into the saga of Luiz Henrique.
That’s because Botafogo, a club owned by John Textor, have been in long negotiations to sign him from Real Betis, and are having some difficulty with the formula.
As detailed by Jorge Nicola, the big problem is that the player only wants to spend a few months in Brazil, as he plans to continue his career in Europe.
According to Nicola, Luiz Henrique would accept being signed by the Eagles and then being loaned to Botafogo until the summer.
The forward is expected to cost €20m, which is a huge investment for a Brazilian club, and that’s why Textor is clearly planning something bigger for the future. Maybe Crystal Palace could get involved, although the businessman doesn’t have the same power at Crystal Palace as he does at Lyon and Botafogo.
