Again linked to a departure from Leicester City, Wilfred Ndidi is now said to be a target for Galatasaray ahead of the next transfer window.
This information is today brought by Milliyet, who features a story telling some of the names the Turkish side are considering to sign.
It’s said that Ndidi is the ‘first name’ that came out in a recent meeting, as the Leicester City midfielder ‘stood out’ as the best target.
The 26-year-old’s contract with the Foxes expires at the end of the season, and that’s why he’s seen by Galatasaray as an ‘affordable’ signing.
It’s recalled that the Turkish side had already tried to get him last summer, and couldn’t reach an agreement. Now his free agency could bring the situation to a whole new scenario.
Ndidi continues to be an important player for Leicester City, with three goals and five assists in 18 appearances this season.
We now have to wait and see if Galatasaray can come forward with an offer to convince the Foxes to part ways with him early.
Otherwise, they will have to continue to try and convince him to extend or risk losing him on a free at the end of the campaign.
