Just recently, Girona star Savinho claimed he dreams of signing for Manchester City.
When leaving Brazil back in the summer of 2022, he was bought by the City Group, signed by Troyes. Since then, he’s been loaned to PSV and Girona.
It was never clear whether the City Group would like to move Savinho to Manchester City, and now quoted by Mundo Deportivo, director Ferran Soriano talked about the Brazilian’s future.
The City Group certainly have the power to move Savinho to Manchester City if they want to, but it does look like they want a bigger development from him before considering that possibility.
Girona are having an amazing season, currently standing top of La Liga, leaving the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid behind.
Savinho is a big part of that, with four goals and four assists in 13 league appearances so far. That will undoubtedly result in some big interest in him, and maybe that’s when the City Group will analyse whether he deserves the chance to play for Manchester City.
