Harry Kane potentially moving to Bayern Munich is summer 2023 is a rumour which has been building in Germany for a while, and it’s one which has gone down well with the club’s fans.
Therefore, they’re are continually asking journalists for updates on the situation, and Bild’s Christian Falk has obliged.
Kane has a contract with Tottenham Hotspur which runs until June 2024, and that will put Spurs under some pressure next summer. The Bild report explains that according to transfer rules, Bayern can’t open official negotiations with the player’s camp at this stage, but it’s made clear they’ve started talking to his entourage anyway.
Bayern have been in contact with Kane’s camp, with his brother Charlie specifically named, to find out if a move to the Bundesliga champions would be an option for the striker next summer.
Generally the answers they’re hearing from England aren’t positive, and it’s made clear Tottenham will be looking to extend Kane’s contract again, so they don’t end up in that difficult situation next summer.
Bayern Munich aren’t walking away, and whilst this rumour probably doesn’t require a lot of hype right now, it’s made clear contact has been made.
