Originating from Italy, the idea that West Ham United are keen on Justin Kluivert continues to survive in their media.
This time, it comes from Corriere della Sera’s Rome edition, who look at what AS Roma will do with some of their players, as their push to sign Paulo Dybala continues.
Room will need to be made, and the Dutchman, who had a decent season on loan at OGC Nice, is likely to be sold, as both West Ham and Lyon ‘continue to like him’.
Marseille were said to be in the mix, but that appears to have changed, and while the Hammers continue to need a proper number nine, with Gianluca Scamacca now seemingly leading the line, other forwards are still being looked at.
Whether that really is the case, we’ll have to see, but if West Ham do want him, previous reports have suggested that a fee of around €15m would be needed, which seems rather affordable for a club of their stature.
Now, we wait.
