Paulo Dybala’s representatives met with Juventus on Monday, for a meeting about whether the Argentine will renew his contract with the Turin club.
Given his current deal expires at the end of the current season, the situation has been building towards decision time, and the Italian media think we’ve reached that point.
Calciomercato report that after no breakthrough was found during the meeting, with Juventus offering less than what the player’s camp think is acceptable, Dybala is now set to leave the Serie A side at the end of the season.
Should Dybala want to stay in Italy, then Inter Milan is seen as an option. Atletico Madrid is the Spanish side being pushed, and PSG is also said to be a possibility. When it comes to the Premier League, Dybala is said to be liked by Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham.
Indeed, when it comes to discussing the Manchester clubs, Calciomercato say ‘Especially the United side’, because Manchester City isn’t thought to be a realistic destination any longer.
That’s partly because Pep Guardiola has already secured Julian Alvarez, and Manchester City could also sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
Dybala almost moved to Manchester United in 2019, with the deal collapsing. That’s been put down to failure to agree image rights, or simply cold feet from the player as the deal progressed.
