Fulham do not regret losing midfielder Franck Zambo Anguissa to Napoli, as they can always buy him back should he leave permanently anyway.
Anguissa is currently on loan at the Serie A side, who moved to secure him in the summer following Fulham’s relegation to the Championship.
He’s been a key player for them ever since, with a series of impressive performances earning him plenty of rave reviews.
Indeed, the move is looking increasingly likely to be turned into a permanent one, particularly as Napoli have an option to buy him for €15m.
That’s a price Fulham may regret including in the loan deal if Anguissa continues to shine, as he could probably demand a much bigger figure next summer.
Scout Carlo Jacomuzzi is having none of that, though, insisting there are no regrets over the deal at Craven Cottage when asked about the situation in a recent interview.
“They have their own problems there; no one has regretted losing him,” he told the Marte Sport Live programme, relayed by Mondo Napoli.
“Also, because they can buy him back if they want, they don’t have liquidity problems.”
