As you might have heard, Mohamed Elneny doesn’t really have a future at Arsenal.
The Egyptian midfielder has a whopping two appearances under Mikel Arteta this season, and with a contract expiring at the end of the season, an exit in January is likely.
The big question was whether the Gunners decided to let him go for free or not, which the last report we covered from Turkey hinted at.
Fanatik had stated the club were ready to ‘release’ the player in January, which suggested a termination of his contract to facilitate an exit.
Furthermore, they reveal that Arsenal ‘are planning to send their 29-year-old player midway through the season at an affordable price’.
To us, that sounds like the London side are still very much hoping on getting money for their midfielder, although the amount they have in mind isn’t revealed.
All Fotomaç know is that Fatih Terim ‘wants to see Elneny in his team’, and Galatasaray are seemingly working to get that sorted in the next few months.
