With Fiorentina still hopeful of keeping Dusan Vlahovic at the club, newspaper La Nazione today features a new piece on the striker’s situation.
The outlet claims the Serie A side have once again been in touch for a contract renewal, as his current deal expires in 2023 and they’re currently feeling forced to sell him next year.
Vlahovic’s agents, however, are said to have a ‘super offer’ from Manchester City in their hands. That’s claimed to include a salary of €6m per season, a figure which is after tax.
And while Fiorentina only offer the striker’s entourage a commission of €3m, the one in the bid from the Premier League is of ‘two digits’.
Atletico Madrid are also named in the race, but the Colchoneros are said to be a ‘second line’ competitor, while it’s really Manchester City who are taken more seriously.
Despite those details regarding a potential personal agreement, La Nazione doesn’t say how much Pep Guardiola’s side would pay Fiorentina for the player. Earlier today, we saw claims saying only the ‘right’ proposal would take him from La Viola, and that would be €75m.
