Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has already signed a contract with Flamengo, according to the latest claims from Brazil.
TNT Sports reporter Fred Caldeira says the transfer is now ‘official’ as the player is about to travel to South America and get ready to play for the Rio de Janeiro side.
Pereira is set to leave Manchester tonight and will land at Galeão Airport at 5:50AM on Friday.
The same journalist had already brought the details of the loan deal on Wednesday evening, with the move initially costing Flamengo €1m.
The Brazilian side are set to pay 60% of the player’s salary, and according to Caldeira, will have no buying option over him at the end of the loan. That’s the only information which goes against other reports, as outlets like O Dia say there’s a clause of just over €15m for the permanent move.
Pereira is set to stay at Flamengo at least until next summer, and it’s been said that his wish to play for the club has been crucial for Manchester United to accept the offer.
