Loaned to Aarhus GF in Denmark by Liverpool, Kamil Grabara hasn’t had the best past couple of weeks.
Making two important mistakes in two games against FC Nordjsaelland and Kolding IF, the 21-year-old shot stopper, who spent last season at Huddersfield, was heavily criticised.
He admitted himself that he was ‘far from being in optimal shape’, but that didn’t stop the videos of his mistakes circulating on social media, and Grabara promised he would work to fix the situation.
There have been some questions about whether or not he should even be starting for Aarhus, with some even wondering whether the move to Denmark was the right one in the first place for him.
One of those is Arakdiusz Onyszko, a Polish goalkeeper who played in Denmark for 12 years, who explained to Sportowefakty the mistakes made by Grabara are those of someone who isn’t ‘fully concentrated’.

Excelling in the European Youth Championships in 2019, the Liverpool player may have believed too much in himself, with the 46-year-old adding: “I suppose his personal expectations where much higher than a loan to the Championship or playing again in the Danish Premier League.”
He advises the Liverpool loanee to ‘collaborate with a mental coach’, as he ‘unnecessarily put pressure on himself with various provocations on the internet’, with people ‘now responding with redoubled force, only waiting for his mistakes’.
Onysko feels he should have chosen to go elsewhere instead of retuning to Aarhus after his initial spell there in 2019.
He added: “It’s good that it happened to him in Denmark. There, you don’t place the goalkeeper on the bench after a few poor games. On the other hand, I don’t think Kamil will make a step forward in this league. The positive thing is that he will play regularly, and the league is watched by many scouts.”
That could come in handy, especially with the emergence of Caoiminh Kelleher, as there appears to be little room for him under Jürgen Klopp, who already has Alisson, Adrián and the upcoming Irishman at his disposal.
