Everton are the “absolutely favourite” side to land the Juventus goalkeeper Neto, according to the Italian outlet CalcioMercato.
The website claims that the player keeps pushing for a move window after window, and Juventus may now have found a solution for this problem.
The Old Lady would reportedly accept an offer of €10m for a two-year loan, as they expect 27 year old Neto to return to replace 38 year old Gianluigi Buffon when the Italian legend retires.
The Toffees are described as the best solution for this issue, as they’re a club who, CalcioMercato think, would attend to Juve’s demands.
It’s worth remembering that a few days ago, Neto’s agent confirmed to Sport Witness that Everton have contacted him during the summer, but said that there was absolutely no chance of a move now as talks had stopped. He was very clear, and there’d have to be a big change for these constant Italian rumours to be anything more than waffle.
Neto joined Juventus from Fiorentina in 2015, but has only nine appearances for the club.
