Jonathan Cafu’s agent has denied having received any approaches from Leicester City for the player.
Despite recent reports from Italy saying the Foxes were keen on the Brazilian winger, the representative said two clubs are in talks for the signing, and Claudio Ranieri’s side isn’t one of them.
Speaking to Sport Witness, Luis Carvalho said: “It’s a rumour which, for me, I can tell you that nothing concrete has come so far.
“I’ve got something concrete from two other clubs instead, who are not Leicester,” the agent revealed. “Lazio, and Lyon from France. Nothing from England so far.”
Cafu has been playing for Ludogorets in Bulgaria since 2015, when he signed from São Paulo for €2.2m. The 25-year-old already has six goals and five assits this season, including an equaliser against Basel in the Champions League.
His contract with the Bulgarian club runs until 2018, and Transfermarkt currently value him at €4m.
