Turkish newspaper Sabah claim Besiktas are preparing to make another loan offer for Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny.
The 27 year old joined the Black Eagles on a loan deal from Gunners at the start of the season and has been in impressive form for the Super Lig club.
Sabah say new Besiktas manager Sergen Yalcin, who’s made a decent start with the Istanbul side, is a big fan of the player and would like to keep him in his squad beyond this season.
This week there were reports Yalcin has informed the board he wants to keep hold of the Arsenal loanee. However, it’s reported Besiktas won’t have enough resources to pay the €18m redemption fee to make Elneny’s move permanent due to their poor financial situation, so the Turkish club will make another loan offer to Arsenal.
Talks between the two clubs regarding the Egyptian international will commence in the coming weeks. Elneny has previously stated he’s happy at Besiktas and hinted he could stay with the club for next season.
