It wouldn’t really be the end of a transfer window without a Celtic player being linked with a last minute move to the Premier League.
The club getting the attention this time is West Ham, and the player involved is midfielder Olivier Ntcham.
France’s Foot Mercato say the Celtic player has been of interest to several clubs, with them picking out Ligue 1 sides Marseille and Lyon as examples.
Celtic have been able to keep the player away from interested clubs so far, but Foot Mercato say Ntcham is in ‘advanced negotiations’ with West Ham over a potential transfer.
The French website suggests a transfer is possible, but point out West Ham are also interested in Pape Cheikh Diop. He plays for Celta Vigo, and it was reported in Spain today that Hammers interest had faded.
Olivier Ntcham has a contract with Celtic lasting until June 2022, so the club aren’t under big pressure.
