Manchester United are still tracking Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi, claim Turkish newspaper Milliyet.
The former Çaykur Rizespor attacker, who joined the Yellow Canaries last summer for €3.5m, has been in excellent form for Fener, quickly establishing himself as a key player in Ersun Yanal’s team.
Milliyet report Manchester United scouts still have him on the list of players they are currently following as the Premier League side look to bolster their attacking options.
Last year, we covered claims from the Turkish media that United scout Krsto Kilibarda travelled to Turkey to watch Muriqi in action against Alanyaspor. Last week there were reports the Reds had tabled an offer for the Kosovo international.
Muriqi has also been linked with a move to fellow Premier League clubs Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur during this window, but Fenerbahce have no intention of selling him this month as he’s crucial for them in the race for the league title.
The player has scored 13 goals for Fenerbahce in all competitions in this campaign and is under contract with his club until June 2023.
