As we covered earlier today, Olympiacos are in the final stages of selling Daniel Podence to Wolverhampton Wanderers, with claims they are now looking to replace him with Nottingham Forest’s Joao Carvalho.
Initial reports from the Greek press say Wolves have agreed a transfer fee for Podence, and Sdna report Erythrolefki will be looking to replace him with the Nottingham Forest man.
Vitória S.C forward Davidson is also among the players the Greek side are considering, but Sdna report their first choice is Carvalho.
The 22 year old joined Nottingham Forest from Benfica in 2018, but he’s yet to fully establish himself under Sabri Lamouchi.

He’s been linked with a move away from the Championship club in recent months, with Turkish club Trabzonspor also said to be interested in him, along with Olympiacos.
With Wolves expected to close a deal for Podence very soon there may be developments regarding Carvalho’s proposed move to Greece.
He’s made 21 appearances for Forest this season and scored two goals. His contract will expire at the end of June 2023.
