Real Betis, or at least their local media, weren’t too concerned last year about Víctor Camarasa’s loan move to Cardiff City. Even though the Welsh club were relegated it was thought the midfielder had done enough to earn himself a move elsewhere in the Premier League.
The Seville club will have wanted a permanent transfer, but when it got to August and there was nothing agreed, a loan move to Crystal Palace for the season appeared a solution worth accepting.
Camarasa, however, has only played 5 minutes in the Premier League this season, and that was back in September against Tottenham.
He’s thought to be on the verge of leaving Crystal Palace and going out on loan from Betis to a La Liga side.
SuperDeporte report the 25 year old could already be in Spain, and that a move to Alaves could be completed in the coming hours. They seem to believe he may have travelled, but aren’t completely sure.
Should the signing get through quickly, he’ll start training with his new club and could debut on Saturday against Levante, the club he left for Betis.
