Celta Vigo are interested in a move for Crystal Palace midfielder Victor Camarasa should he leave the club in January.
Camarasa joined Palace on loan from Real Betis in the summer transfer window after spending last season on loan with Cardiff City.
The loan deal included a mandatory purchase option of €15m that Crystal Palace would have to pay if he made 15 appearances this season.
However, that is unlikely to happen, with the Spanish midfielder managing just two appearances and 95 minutes of football in competitions to date.
A return to Betis has been mooted in January and should that happen, Celta Vigo will be keen to take him according to Atlántico.
They report that the club are analysing their options as midfielder Stanislav Lobotka is being linked with a move away and they will need a replacement if that happens.
One of the names that has ‘come out in the last hours’ is that of Camarasa, who is an ‘old aspiration’ for the Spanish club.
Any potential deal would rest on Crystal Palace’s willingness to let Camarasa go, but it appears they would be open to that happening, with it stated they would ‘welcome his departure’.
The player is equally keen on leaving and wants to leave too, which leaves Celta in a ‘good position’ to get a deal done.
