According to a claim in the Greek media, Sheffield United are interested in signing Olympiacos midfielder Mady Camara.
Chris Wilder’s side have performed impressively in their first 20 Premier League games this season and it’s reported they will be looking to strengthen their squad by signing the 22 year old.
Sdna report the interest from the Blades is ‘strong’ and it’s likely there will be ‘significant’ developments in the coming days with regards to them signing the Guinea international.
Camara was linked with a move to Watford last summer but the Athens club rejected the Hornets’ offer. However, if Sheffield United meet his buyout clause then there’s a chance he could head to Bramall Lane.
The former Ajaccio player has been a key player for Pedro Martins’ side in this campaign, playing 25 games in all competitions and scoring one goal.
His contract with the Greek club will expire at the end of June 2023. He’s made 11 appearances for his country since making his debut in 2018.
