Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Walter Zenga gave an interview to the Italian media on Friday and was mostly asked about Serie A, but also talked a bit about his work at the Championship side.
“The Championship is a tournament with scaring rhythms, it’s a different football, it’s a real kick.”
Asked about the fan chant which compares him to Arsene Wenger when he enters the pitch, Zenga had a good laugh and answered: “It’s a very heavy comparison but I’m happy because you know that your work is appreciated.”
Later in the interview, Zenga also talked about his love for his former club Inter Milan, and said the Nerazzurri and Roma could give some serious competition to Juventus and Napoli in Serie A this season.
The manager has had 13 games in charge of the Wolves, winning six, drawing three and losing four matches. The club are currently in eleventh place in the Championship table.
