Sabah claim Besiktas have switched their attention to Huddersfield Town defender Terence Kongolo after becoming frustrated with Stoke City’s demands for Bruno Martins Indi.
The Turkish side are in the market for a left sided central defender and this summer they’ve been linked with a number of players including Martins Indi.
However, Sabah say Stoke City are demanding €6m for the Dutch defender, but Besiktas are only looking to offer €4m. There have been recent reports the Black Eagles had agreed personal terms with the Stoke player.
Subsequently, the Super Lig side are now looking at the possibility of signing Huddersfield Town’s Kongolo, who the Turkish media believe is expected to leave this summer.
A loan move could be a possibility at this stage for the 25 year old, who joined the Terriers from Monaco for an undisclosed fee last year.
According to Sabah, Vitória Guimarães defender Pedrao is also an option for Besiktas.
Kongolo is contracted to Huddersfield Town until June 2022.
