Earlier today we brought you an update on Moise Kean, with separate reports covering Everton and Wolves interest in the striker.
The reports stated that Everton were at the front of the queue for the striker, having chased him all summer, although the negotiations had reportedly stalled over Juventus’ demands for the deal.
Wolves, meanwhile, were new on the scene but could use their relationship with Jorge Mendes to get a double deal for Kean and Sami Khedira over the line.
Corriere Dello Sport cover the ongoing drama and say Everton are ‘crazy’ for the young striker. They tried to get a deal with Fabio Paratici while he was recently in London and are willing to pay big to get it done.
They’re happy to pay €40m for Kean, and that figure is satisfactory for Juventus, but they want a future option on the striker and, as the previous reports stated, that’s a problem for Everton.
Like those reports, Corriere Dello Sport don’t state whether its the existence of that clause or the price Juventus are demanding that’s the issue.
Wolves, meanwhile, are also tracking Kean and could use their relationship with Jorge Mendes to get a deal done. That, though, seems a little off.
While the relationship with Mendes would make things easier between Wolves and Juve, it seems unlikely that Kean’s agent, Mino Raiola, would be too happy about another ‘super agent’ muscling in on one of his next big deals.
Either way, Everton’s interest is now well established, as is their willingness to pay Juventus’ asking price, so all’s that’s in the way of this being done is that buy-back clause.
