Marca reported on Tuesday that Arsenal are interested in Lucas Vazquez, but are ‘yet to offer’ the €40m fee that is demanded by Real Madrid.
El Desmarque claims otherwise. They say winger has an offer of €40m offer from the Europa League runners-up as Unai Emery wants the 28-year-old to be a starter at the Emirates next season.
It’s claimed the Spaniard would prefer to join the Gunners along with his current club teammate Mariano Diaz.
El Desmarque goes on to state the money is not a problem.
The English club are willing to propose €40m for Vazquez and €20m for Mariano. Florentino Perez likes the amount offered, but the duo must approve sales for the two deals to take shape.
Vazquez has already spoken to Emery and the latter has assured him of an important role in his side. However, he is still not clear and Mariano, who likes the proposal, is still waiting to talk with Zinedine Zidane before making any decision.
The former Sevilla manager believes the two could ‘explode’ in the Premier League and it remains to be seen if Arsenal can convince Vazquez and Mariano to join them.
