Fanatik claim Besiktas are waiting for West Ham United to make an official offer for their Chilean midfielder Gary Medel.
It’s reported the Turkish club are looking to raise revenue to invest in their squad and are keen to sell Medel to West Ham.
The 31 year old has reportedly received a proposal via agents and he’s said to be keen to leave the Black Eagles in order play under his compatriot Manuel Pellegrini. Last season the player also had issues with withheld salary payments from the Super Lig side.
Medel has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League side since last summer and he could finally get his wish if West Ham make an official offer for him.
Besiktas’ new manager Abdullah Ace is also reportedly considering other options for his midfield so he will allow Medel to leave in this window.
Medel has a year left on his contract at the Vodafone Arena.
