Gunes reports Leicester City value Fousseni Diabate in the region of €3m as he continues to be linked with a move to Besiktas.
Earlier this month we covered claims from Turkey that Besiktas are interested in signing Diabate after their manager Abdullah Avci identified him as a target ahead of next season.
The Malian winger spent the second half of last season on loan with Turkish club Sivasspor and impressed with his performances.
According to Gunes, Leicester City want €3m for the 23 year old but Besiktas are hoping they can sign him for €2m. Talks between the two clubs are set to continue.
The youngster has now returned to Leicester and it’s looking likely he will start preseason training with his parent club.
There have also been reports Brendan Rodgers will get a lowdown on Diabate before deciding if the player will be in his plans going forward.
Diabate’s contract with the Premier League side runs until June 2022.
