Marca claim Manchester United’s Paul Pogba is ‘ahead’ of Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen in the list of summer targets for Real Madrid.

It’s stated the World Cup winner wants to leave Old Trafford, but the Red Devils are keen on retaining him.

Zinedine Zidane prefers Pogba over Eriksen as the latter has not convinced the manager.

Despite that, the Denmark international is viewed as the feasible signing for Los Blancos and from the offices of the Spanish capital club, they do not want to discard his signing.

With one year remaining on his contract with Spurs, the ‘circumstances favour’ the 27-year-old to leave the north London club.

Real Madrid hope to have a meeting with the player’s lawyer in the next few days and analyse the situation once again. If everything fits, Real Madrid may even consider moving ahead with a proposal.

With a year left on his contract, the Spanish newspaper state Eriksen’s price cannot go beyond €60m.

Whether or not Tottenham and their chairman Daniel Levy will accept to part ways with Eriksen for €60m remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Eriksen is in Madrid preparing for Tottenham’s Champions League final against Liverpool later today.
