Sabah reports Trabzonspor have completed the signing of Leeds United striker Caleb Ekuban after loaning the 25 year old last season.
Earlier this month it was confirmed he would become a Trabzonspor player outright but the finer details of the deal had to be agreed.
According to the Turkish newspaper, Trabzonspor yesterday paid the €1m redemption fee to Leeds United.
Ekuban has reportedly signed a three-year deal with the Turkish club and will earn €750K per season.
It’s been widely documented in the Turkish press in recent months that Trabzonspor would redeem Ekuban after he impressed for the club in the second half of the season.
The forward has become a first choice for the Super Lig club, and he scored some important goals in the last campaign.
This is in total contrast to his only season with Leeds United after scoring just one goal in twenty games for the Championship side.
With the appointment of Marcelo Bielsa last summer, it always seemed Ekuban would exit Elland Road.
