According to a claim in Mundo Deportivo, Celta Vigo midfielder Okay Yokuslu ‘has offers to leave’ the club this summer.
It’s reported the Spanish side have extended Fran Escriba’s contract, but the Celta Vigo manager could lose Okay to the Premier League, with West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur said to be interested.
Goal recently got in touch with the player’s agent, who confirmed European clubs were taking a look at his client: “There is interest from sides in the Premier League and La Liga, but he is a Celta Vigo player and it would be wrong to mention any names right now.”
The Turkish international impressed in his first season with the Galician side, and it appears West Ham and Tottenham will face competition from Spanish teams for his signature.
The 25 year old joined Celta from Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor last summer for €6m and played 30 games in La Liga last season, scoring two goals.
Both West Ham and Tottenham will be looking to strengthen their squads this summer and both are being endlessly linked to players.
Yokuslu is under contract with the Spanish club until June 2023.
