Almost a week ago to the day was the last time we heard about Arsenal and Cengiz Under, and it certainly was a bit of good news for the Emirates faithful.
While they were still being challenged for the Turkish starlet’s services by Bayern Munich, a summer exit was looking more and more likely as Roma slowly slipped away from Champions League qualification for next season.
In doing so, the Serie A side could be forced to make up their lost money by selling some of their assets, which would include Ünder.
We’re now a week later, and not much has changed.
In fact, a bigger outlet, like Gazzetta dello Sport, are now joining the party regarding a potential Ünder sale, as they explain the whole attack at Roma is ‘under exam’ (no pun intended).
None have really convinced this season (except maybe for Edin Dzeko) and Roma know that if they were in need of selling, the Turkey international would be their best bet of making decent money.
As Gazzetta put it, he’s the one it would be ‘easy to make cash’ on.
Arsenal and Bayern Munich are once again mentioned, and with their preference to keep the young Italians like Lorenzo Pellegrini and Nicolo Zaniolo around, the foreigners are the ones who could be sacrificed in the summer.
