Sporx claim Galatasaray have made contact with FC Porto’s midfielder Hector Herrera as they look to replace Stoke City loanee Badou Ndiaye.
The Turkish website claim Galatasaray are looking to loan Ndiaye for another season but if they fail to do so then they’ll target Herrera as his replacement.
However, a loan deal for the Stoke City player looks unlikely after we covered reports from Turkey yesterday that the Championship side want to sell him for a fee in the region of €16m to €17m.
Subsequently it was claimed Gala have switched their attention to Gent’s Anderson Esiti and it now looks like Herrera is also an option for the club.
Ndiaye has been in decent form for Galatasaray for the majority of this season but recently his performances have been criticised in the Turkish press.
If Stoke City do want a permanent transfer for the Senegal international, then it seems the Lions will have no choice but to look for other targets.
Ndiaye has made 25 appearances for Galatasaray this season, scoring three goals.
