Manchester City star Bernardo Silva is on the front page of Portuguese newspaper Record this Friday.
The midfielder has given a four-page interview to the Lisbon outlet, talking about his career, Manchester City, and of course, Portuguese football.
Now besides saying he’s pretty happy at Manchester City, Bernardo Silva was poked once or twice about his future at the club. One of the questions was about his contract, which expires in 2022, and there have been some rumours about an early renewal.
“I would like it, I feel good here, but I have no information on that,” Bernardo Silva told Record. “I do not know if it is true or false, who deals with these matters is my agent and so far he has not phoned me.”
Bernardo was also asked about a possible transfer to Real Madrid, quizzed if he could ‘tell anything’ about it. But he didn’t really feed the rumour.
“I don’t know anything. I also do not know if it’s true or false, but the rumors don’t tell me anything. I’m focused on Manchester City, I’m happy, I have another three years of contract and I can even renew.”
The Man City star has also spoken about English football, the positions he likes to play and the possibility of winning a Ballon D’Or.
These quotes will be brought by us later today.
