West Ham United allowed Sead Haksabanovic to join Malaga on a season-long loan deal, but the attacking midfielder has made only two appearances in the league.
At the end of November, Diario Sur reported the 19-year-old is thinking of ending his temporary spell with the Spanish outfit.
The Hammers player has now ended his disappointing spell at Malaga and will get a chance to show his qualities at another club, if a report from Swedish outlet fotbolldirekt.se is to be believed.
AIK allowed Kristoffer Olsson to join Russian side Krasnodar and are in the market to replace the player.
Haksabanovic is identified as a target and for the move to take shape, the Swedish outfit and the Premier League side are ‘close to agreeing’ a deal that will see him join AIK on a loan deal with an option to buy.
The report mentions the two clubs are likely to find an agreement soon and Haksabanovic could be presented as an AIK player soon. If things go as per the plan, the transfer could be completed this week.
