Last Thursday, we covered a report from Tutto Mercato Web, who claimed that Arsenal are keen on signing Cengiz Under from AS Roma in the winter market.
It was also mentioned the Gunners even made an offer of €32m, which was turned down because it did not satisfy the club’s owner, James Pallotta.
The same website has carried another exclusive report on the Turkey international and that the Premier League outfit’s initial offer for the winger was turned down the Italian side is once again mentioned.
TMW has more update on the 21-year-old as they claim that Pallotta is now demanding a fee of ‘at least’ €50m to part ways with the wideman.
Eusebio Di Francesco will take his men to the Allianz Stadium to face Juventus at the weekend and scouts from the north London club will be in the attendance to watch Under in action.
The report further mentions that Roma’s plan is to keep Under at the club until the end of the season, but they’ll change their mind if there’s a ‘crazy offer’.
Now it’s down to Unai Emery’s side whether they want to meet Roma owner’s minimum asking price of €50m to secure the winger’s services.
